Yesterday was a day off, thankfully. Not only was my body beginning to rebel, but I had a 13 hour day at the office. Luckily, my whining on Tuesday night did not go unheeded and the coach gave me the day off. Good thing too, it would have been a pathetic sight. Work is still fun and exciting, but definitely demanding in terms of time. That's ok though, I'm clearly going to learn a great deal. I'm starting to realize that this job will challenge my commitment to the race. Working 60+ hours a week makes it much harder to find time for daily running than working 25 does. No matter, I won't slack, after all, the Enemy won't beat herself. Good thing it's gonna start being light till 10pm soon.

Speaking of the Enemy, according to her blog she has fled to Mehico. Apparently she has to go there for work. Rrrright...work...Well, hopefully she'll be extradited in time for our race. She's also trying to change the date, claiming that she is going to be "camping" that weekend. Who camps on Labour Day? Anyways, another day will have to be found. Or maybe the orgy...errr "camping" will be cancelled.
