84 Days Left
Weight: 200
Training Time: 14:10
Total Pledge Value: $617.47
Back to the real life running today. I did a solid 45 minutes on the treadmill, plus warm up and cool down. I ran a bit slower than last week, I made a concerted effort to keep on my heart rate targets. As a result my distance was a little lower. But the running felt great, very little soreness and a great even pace. I wasn't too tired or near to tears or nausea after, so I'd say things were a success. The coach and I are confident that when race day comes up I'll be able to run like a puma (fast, long and hard....reminds me of another one of my talents).
After some consideration, I have decided to revise my position on the Enemy's ability to buy her way out of the contest. I realize that $200 would not begin to cover the financial suffering I would fall victim to if the Enemy decided to pull out. I don't think I'd be able to claim my many many pledges. As a result, I've decided to revise my buy-out. For an even $800 I will give the Enemy the chance to buy her way out of the big race. This offer will be open until the day of the race and should the Enemy decide to take me up on it, I'll take you all out for a seriously destructive drinking binge. (Grams - I'm just kidding, we'll go bowling.)
For all you perverts, bowling is also the "other talent" I was referring to. If any ladies out there want to explore my...err...bowling talents in more depth, please send me a photograph and quick blurb about yourself. Extra points for props, uniforms and film credits.
